Pre-Ballet:
Ohana’s Pre-Ballet program is designed to instruct young beginning dancers the disciplines of the art of ballet. The Pre-Ballet classes are fun and technical at the same time with a high energy and kid friendly environment.

Ballet:
Ohana recognizes the art of Ballet with respect and dignity, and believes it should be taught as such. Dancers will be instructed in the proper technique and vocabulary of the French ( Cecetti) and Russian ( Vagonava) methods of ballet, while also building strength, flexibility, stamina, and wonderful posture that will be with them for the rest of their lives.
Pre-Ballet ~ Ages 3-5 (30 min) Monday 6pm
Ballet~ Ages 4-8 (45 min) Monday 5:15pm
Adv Beginner Ballet/Jazz Combo~ Ages 6-12 (1 hr) Monday 7pm
Pointe:
The most advanced type of ballet. Dancers will complete the same training as ballet but on their toes! A dancers strength, flexibility, stamina and posture will be tested and grow even more while on Pointe. Dancers will gain extreme confidence in their accomplishments and dancing ability at this level. In the advanced Pointe levels, dancers will be as comfortable on their toes as they are in their regular shoes and will be ready for professional auditions.

All Jazz classes are energetic, aerobic and family friendly. Dancers will learn Jazz technique in a tasteful and age appropriate manner. Students will build strength, stamina, flexibility and agility while also mastering the discipline of classic jazz!
Adv Beginner Ballet/Jazz Combo(1.25 hrs) ~Ages 6-12 Monday 7pm
Jazzy Hip Hop (1 hr) ages 6-12 Monday 6pm
Jazz ages 6-12 Saturday 12pm (1 hr)
This class is fun and energetic. Each week students will learn step-by-step choreography to danceable beats and music. Students will learn old skool hip hop moves, dancehall, street dance, and styles seen in hip hop and pop music videos today.
Beginner Hip Hop~Ages 6-12 (1 hr) ~ Saturday 11am
Jazzy Hip Hop - Ages 5-10 ~ Wednesday 6-7pm
Jazzy Hip Hop/Gymnastics Combo ~ Ages 5-10 (2 hrs) ~ Wed 6-8pm
Musical Theatre combines classical jazz technique with confident stage presence and Broadway sass! Dancers will learn how to perform Broadway style routines, along with proper technique and multi-tasking. In Musical Theatre we lip sync, act and dance flawlessly all at once! Dancers will learn skills and confidence that will assist them in any performing arts setting turning them into a triple threat dancer!
Musical Theatre ~ Ages 6-12 (2 hrs) ~ Wed 7pm
Tap dancers use their feet like drums to create rhythmic patterns and timely beats. Tap dancing is great exercise and so much fun, once you start you won't be able to stop!
Tap ~ Ages 6-12 (1 hr) ~ Mon 4:30pm
Teen/Adult Classes
Jazz Fusion~(1 hr) ~ Sat 1pm
This class offers a full body, energetic work out... easy to learn dance moves that are non-stop FUN!
Latin~(1 hr) ~ Sat 2pm
Learn to ball room dance like "Dancing with the Stars", fun and fast moving...beginners welcome.

Connect to others, the rhythm of the drum, the earth and yourself, this class offers a full body, energetic work out. Shoulders, chests, pelvis, arms, legs are all fully engaged in this high impact form of dance expression. Rooted in story telling through movement, this class offers a communal, grounded, fun dance experience. Students will learn African styles of movement while dancing to the rhythms of eclectic African music.

Modern
Modern dance is a theatrical and emotive dance style. The goal of this class is to explore creative expression. Students will learn and practice basic ballet technique in a less restrictive method that allows for movement that is reflective of emotions. This class encourages and allows students the opportunity to engage in authentic movement expression

Learn how to interpret a song using traditional dance techniques.
Dancers will learn to portray basic emotions and dynamics using the movements and techniques that are unique to them. All lyrical classes use the strength and flexibility of a dancer along with basic posture to create an age appropriate interpretation of a piece of music, in an encouraging and creative environment. Dancers will “dance it out” and become confident in their creative and unique personalities...
